Beena Ammanath

Beena is the Founder and CEO of Humans For AI. Beena is a transformational leader and recognized industry expert who has driven pioneering technology changes in several market leading major companies by shaping the use of AI, Data and Analytics. She saw through mentoring programs how difficult it was for women and minorities to enter the new economy. Inspired to make a difference, Beena started Humans For AI to increase diversity in AI and make AI understandable to the non-tech community.

Marcia Morales-Jaffe

Marcia is a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company and an Industry Advisor to various HR technology companies. Her distinctive leadership is shaped by her unique multi-faceted professional background as an engineer, management consultant, entrepreneur, and Chief People Officer at Fortune 200 companies PayPal [Nasdaq:PYPL] and World Fuel Services [NYSE:INT]. A graduate in Computer Engineering with an Operations Research minor, Marcia started her career as a systems analyst. After her MBA, she joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant, eventually finding her vocation “on the people side” of business strategy. At World Fuel Services, an energy distribution company with a big vision, Marcia was a key member of the leadership team that grew the company from $2 Bn to $ 40 Bn in revenues over a 10-year span.
As Chief People Officer at PayPal, Marcia was instrumental in laying a strong foundation for growth and shaping PayPal’s unique culture, one that inspires every employee to embrace and advance its transformational business vision and social mission.
Marcia is a thought leader in her field. She chairs the Emeritus group of the Gartner CHRO Global Leadership Board, a select, invitation-only group of CHROs with a mission to influence and advance the HR community. Marcia is a frequent speaker at conferences and expert panels. Her professional achievements were recognized by HRO Today who named her a Leader of Distinction (2017). She has been recognized by the National Diversity Council as a Top 50 Multicultural Leader in Technology (2017), Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology (2015) and Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Oil & Gas (2014).
Marcia is deeply committed to mentoring and developing future leaders. Her volunteer work centers around education, technology, inclusion and youth.

Bindu Garapaty

Bindu Garapaty, Psy.D. is a true believer in human potential, Bindu Garapaty has found the intersection of happiness, human behavior, and leadership. With a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and an entrepreneurial spirit, Dr. Garapaty is the co-founder and CEO of The Happy Leader, LLC. She infuses evidence-based practices and lessons learned from her leadership experience in health care, corporate, academia, for-profit, and non-profit organizations, to empower leaders to find their intersection of happiness, meaning, and impact. She currently, leads the global mentoring /coaching program and serves as an organizational development consultant in talent, development, and inclusion at Gilead Sciences.

As a daughter of South Asian immigrants growing up in a rural part of Michigan, she recognized from an early age what diversity, inclusion and a sense of belonging truly meant. Navigating that experience with the supports put in place around her was very empowering. The experience of being different opened up so many personal and professional possibilities. In today’s age, she’s passionate about answering this question: How do we stay connected at a human level with the right level of emotional intelligence in a world full of AI?

Keith Koo

Managing Partner, Guardian Insight Group  / Host “Silicon Valley Insider” Radio Show and Podcast.

Keith is a Founder and Managing Partner of Guardian Insight Group, a Technology Risk advisory firm dedicated to guiding enterprise companies and startups in identifying, assessing, controlling, and mitigating risks associated with doing business between clients and their third parties.

Previously, Keith was the Managing Director/Head of Third-Party Risk Management for the Mitsubishi Financial Group (MUFG) and was responsible for ensuring that the Bank had the proper framework, policies, and controls to meet regulatory standards for effective oversight of third parties/vendors.

Keith is also the creator and host of the “Silicon Valley Insider” radio show and Podcast on 1220AM KDOW Silicon Valley/San Francisco. Keith has interviewed C-Level executives from Fortune 100, government officials as well as “unicorns” all in the context of innovation, disruption and the risks associated with doing business to achieve optimal business outcomes.

Keith is an adviser to Fortune 1000 companies, accelerators and startups in emerging technology such as fintech,  insurtech, blockchain, IoT, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. His passion is to be a bridge for companies navigating digital transformation between legacy and new technology.

Muriel Clauson

Muriel Clauson is an entrepreneur, speaker, and researcher focused on creating a better future of work. She has authored scientific publications, is a scientific advisor for several governments and organizations around the world, and has appeared in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Conscious Company, and Forbes.

She is a speaker on the future of work and AI with emerging technology think-tank Singularity University. She speaks on technological change globally with organizations including the World Bank, China’s SAI Task Force for Innovation, the Milken Institute, United States Embassies, the Aspen Institute, the InterAction Council, the Young Presidents Organization, Palo Alto Networks, Silicon Valley Bank and more. In the past year, Muriel has advised ambassadors, prime ministers, and presidents across four continents on their future of work policy.

Muriel founded Oppticity, a future of work startup, and is completing her doctorate in industrial-organizational psychology at the University of Georgia.

He is also an experienced healthcare entrepreneur and investor in healthcare companies, leveraging his deep understanding of healthcare issues and technology to address healthcare issues globally ranging from poor efficiency, manpower gaps, poor patient experience and lack of access to healthcare.

He cofounded Clinivantage .com in 2015 which now has operational presence in several countries including UK, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Kenya, Tanzania ,UAE and Oman with a patient footprint in excess of 15 million patients with 80+ signed up hospitals and global associations with IT majors like IBM.

Devin Cook

Devin Cook is the Executive Producer of the MIT Inclusive Innovation Challenge (IIC). Launched under Devin’s leadership at the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy, the IIC annually awards over $1.5 million to technology-driven organizations globally that are reinventing the future of work and creating a more equitable economy in the digital age.

Devin’s expertise lies in accelerating entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ecosystems for economic growth. As a Fulbright Scholar, she researched entrepreneurship as a driver of economic development among textile artisans in India. She has conducted research and curriculum development alongside leading innovation and entrepreneurship faculty at MIT.

Devin has worked at multiple start-ups, mentored over 100 start-up founders, and currently teaches entrepreneurship at accelerators nationwide. She earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she was awarded the Ronald I. Heller Award for her contribution to entrepreneurship education on campus, and a BA from Middlebury College.

Devin is a Jurist for the INDEX: Award, the world’s largest design prize, and sits on the board of the Maine Women’s Fund.

Kristine Boyden

As President for Edelman’s Western Region, Kristine sets the strategy and facilitates key decisions that drive success for Edelman and its clients across five offices in the west. Working with the GMs of the 650+ person region, she leads initiatives that act as a catalyst for change and which bring the best of Edelman to clients.

Over the course of her 18+ years at Edelman, Kristine has represented clients across myriad sectors. Ranging from leading teams serving tech and commerce brands like PayPal, to senior counsel for the top dozen clients for Edelman in the U.S. including HP, Charles Schwab, Kaiser Permanente, California Walnuts, Sunkist, Petco, Taco Bell and many others.

Under Boyden’s leadership, her teams have won a number of prestigious awards for programs ranging from consumer branding, crisis management and corporate media strategy to digital and influencer marketing.

Sara L. Terheggen, Ph.D., J.D. (“Dr. T”) is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The NBD Group, Inc., a leading legal and business solutions firm. She also serves as a Director and member of the Investment Committee for Atwater Capital. Dr. T has advised on transactions with an aggregate value of more than $100 billion and she has been recognized more than 40 times for her professional expertise, leadership and civic engagement.

As a storyteller and keynote speaker, I help people feel the future.
